Digital Art and Illustration
Koi and Cranes
The cranes were inspired by poem called "1000 Paper Cranes" by Shinji Moon, while the koi swimming upwards represents perseverance.
Lemonade
When you keep getting lemons, you keep making lemonade, right? Sometimes life feels full of challenges and I draw a picture about it.
Jellyfish
I wanted to try to capture bio-luminescence in a more messy and watercolor-y design.
SEAHorses
I really like seahorses. They're so unique and interesting and they come in so many amazing colors.
Underwater
I wanted to experiment with little to no line art and this is the piece I ended up with!
Vibes
I quit smoking before I underwent top surgery a little over a year ago and every once in a while I still get bad cravings. This picture was inspired by one of those cravings.
Apprentice
These drawings were part of a series I created for Drawtober 2022. I've always loved frogs and I wanted to create something similar to the Poro Roggo from FFXIV.
small-space witchcraft
I worked with the theme "Apartment Witch" and went from there. I wanted to show a shelf or a table in a small apartment dedicated to the craft. Props if you can find the Pokemon reference!
COLOR AND CHAOS
I love bright colors and busy images. These were some of my favorite things to create. Adding patterns, shapes, and fish to every inch of the picture is so much fun.
portraiture
Bernie Sanders and his mittens
This was the first digital portrait I completed, around the height of the Sanders Mittens meme being circulated.
Chester Bennington of Linkin Park
I was saddened when he passed away, and wanted to create a portrait for my own collection. While Linkin Park certainly isn't everyone's cup of tea, the music resonated with me and continues to do so.
